ADULTS
This approach to therapy is tailored specifically for adults and offers well-rounded support for navigating life’s complexities. It addresses concerns such as workplace stress, relationship difficulties, and overall well-being. Our services focus on equipping you with practical strategies and support to manage these challenges more effectively and build healthier coping skills.
YOUNG ADULTS
The transition from adolescence to adulthood can feel overwhelming, as young adults navigate careers, relationships, and major life decisions. Therapy can support this stage by helping individuals process past or current trauma, understand attachment patterns, build healthy relationships and boundaries, and manage academic or life stress. This space allows young adults to move into adulthood with greater confidence and appropriate support.
ADOLESCENTS 15+
Teen counselling is never a one-size-fits-all approach. Each teenager faces unique challenges and changes, and therapy is tailored to meet them where they are. Whether they are navigating school stress, family difficulties, questions around identity, or mental health concerns, we provide a supportive and understanding space to help them feel heard and supported.
Fees
KT Psychology currently charges the recommended fee schedule as set out by the Psychologists Association of Alberta, which increased March 2025. These rates are as follows: ​

$235 per 50 min session
$352.50 per 90 min session.
Insurance
Many insurance plans cover part or all of the cost of counselling with a Registered Psychologist. Clients are responsible for confirming their coverage directly with their insurance provider. We provide detailed receipts to support benefit claims.

Kiersten is able to offer direct billing to select providers, including Blue Cross, Canada Life, Manulife, Green Shield, RCMP, Edmonton Police Service, Veterans Affairs, and the Canadian Armed Forces. Please contact us at admin@ktpsych.ca for more information about direct billing options.
Employee Assistance Plan
You may have complete counselling coverage through your employer. Please contact your HR department to see if your place of employment has an Employee Assistance Program.
