Equine Therapy
Equine-assisted therapy has become a powerful and transformative type of therapy for many individuals seeking support outside of a traditional, office-based setting.
Equine-assisted therapy allows people to face challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship conflicts, and more. Through interactions with safe and gentle horses, clients can explore emotions, build self-esteem, and improve communication skills. Whether you seek relief from stress, motivation, or guidance through life transitions, equine-assisted therapy can help you on your journey toward healing and growth.

What do sessions entail?
Sessions occur with a single horse or a herd of horses (and on occasion, miniature horses, cats and dogs!). These counselling sessions are conducted in the pasture, round pen, indoor arena, or barn.
Some activities utilized in the process include:
-
leading
-
grooming
-
lunging
-
obstacle courses
-
liberty work (interacting with horses in their natural state off lead)
*These sessions only involve groundwork, it does not include riding.
